Payton, the female lead, is a little better. He is the definition of uber-entitled white male privilege who, in his own words, doesn't believe in privilege. I got nearly 80 pages in, and J.D., the male lead, has acted like a hardcore meninist-style misogynist the entire time. ![]() I was promised a lighthearted, entertaining romance with lots of laughs. I feel like I read a completely different book than everyone else. ![]()
